Educators can demonstrate how to use the Regional Profiles to help students explore areas of B.C. that may not be familiar to them. The regional information is a collection of data that provide a flavour of what it may be like to live, study and work in that region. They include information about employment statistics, population data and the 10-year labour market outlook. Check out the Regional Profiles.
Teacher Tip
Demonstrate how to use the website so the students can learn more about the region they live in, or about other areas of B.C. where they may want to find work or attend post-secondary school. Suggest they use some of this information in their post-secondary plan that is included in their capstone project.
