Some profiles include a Career Trek video of a British Columbian who shares their perspective about the career and what it’s like to work in that occupation. Educators can use this resource for lessons related to career awareness, exploration or engagement. To help students review and digest this vast resource, educators could consider doing a pair-and-share activity. Access and search 500 Career Profiles.

Teacher Tip

Explore Careers is a good tool to use with all grades. Educators can demonstrate how to find occupations and create pair-and-share activities to learn about occupations with students in earlier grades. Career educators can also direct students to this who are doing occupational research in the later years so that they can get a full overview of what to expect if they were to enter any of the 500 occupations featured in the resource.
